Music Career Andrew W.K. begins his musical career by playing in several local bands in the middle of the 1990s. Additionally, he collaborated with Aaron Dilloway to create the soundtrack for the independent film “Poltergeist,” from which one tune was included on the Hanson Records collection “Labyrinths & Jokes.” It was his first solo release as Andrew W.K. when he put out his first EP, “Girls Own Juice,” also known as “AWKGOJ,” on Bulb Records in March 2000. Following the release of “Girls Own Juice,” another Bulb Records EP called “Party Til You Puke” in October 2000, Andrew amicably parted ways with Bulb Records to sign with Island Records.
