Barbarella Cassavetes is a well-known actress who is the daughter of Nick Cassavetes, an American actor, writer, and director, and his second wife, Heather Wahlquist.

Nicholas David Rowland “Nick” Cassavetes, on the other hand, is an American film actor, screenwriter, and filmmaker with a staggering net worth of $40 million as of 2022. Is it true that Barbarella Cassavetes was kidnapped?

Barbarella, who is 14 years old, is more concerned with her studies than with being in a relationship. So far, the Notebook director has alleged that his ex-girlfriend Heather Wahlquist kidnapped their daughter in Oklahoma in 2017. He has filed a complaint against Wahlquist for violating their custody agreement, claiming that he tried to contact his daughter but that she had turned off her phone.

According to Cassavetes, the teen’s grandmother and aunt were assisting Wahlquist in keeping her undercover. He explained:

“We believe her family, particularly her grandmother Linda Massad and great aunt Jeanette Massad Anderson, were involved in the concealment of Barbie and have been served… I’m not sure if she’s okay or not, and I’m worried about her,” says the author.

Nick was rumored to have had Barbie’s custody from December 18 to January 8, but Heather never said anything about it. In fact, her mother stated that she wanted to keep her daughter away from her father for her own good, as Nick Cassavetes was an unattended guardian who struggled with gambling and drug abuse.

According to TMZ, both Cassavetes and Wahlquist filed emergency custody applications on Friday, 2017, and the manager was found to be the parent with “current legal custody.”

“I’m going to make a living hell for your life,” Nick’s mother, Wahlquist, allegedly told Heather when she left, “I’m going to make a living hell for your life.” She even claimed that Nick was the one who kidnapped the child as a form of retaliation.
