According to initial reports, Ryan’s death was ruled a suicide, but reports in Pakistani publications Dawn and The News International suggested that his death could be probed as a murder.

Keith had been an attaché for the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement department in Pakistan since December 2006. Conor, John, and Amelia, Keith’s three children, live in Silver Spring, Maryland.
