Career and Professional Life of Casey Close

When it comes to his work, he was a member of the Michigan Wolverines baseball team from 1983 to 1986. Close has the University of Michigan record for career home runs and runs scored. In 1986, he had a slugging percentage of.869, which is the best in Michigan baseball history.

After he finished college, Case Close was chosen in the 1986 MLB Draft. His name was chosen by the New York Yankees in the seventh round of the NFL draft. Casey had previously played in the minor leagues for the Oneonta Yankees, Albany Colonie Yankees, Columbus Clippers, and Calgary Cannons. He had also played for the Columbus Clippers and the Calgary Cannons.

In 1989, he played in 95 games for Calgary. This was one of his best years in professional baseball. When the season was over, he hit.330, had 38 extra-base hits, and had 56 RBIs.

In 1992, he joined IMG’s baseball division as an associate. In 1993, he was appointed as Derek Jeter’s agent and remained so throughout his Major League career. Close left IMG and went to work for the Creative Artists Agency.
