From 1969 until 1976, he played Dr. Joe Gannon in the television drama Medical Center. Rome Adventure, The Chapman Report, Star Command, and Manhattan, AZ are among his other acting credits. Beginning in 1973, Everett was involved in a long legal struggle with actress Sheila Scott. After the actress identified Everett as her son, Dale’s father, the feud began.
