Upper-body injur affect his match

Ruhwedwel missed two games in December 2022 due to an upper body injury sustained in a collision with Islanders forward Oliver Wahlstrom.

Chad was forced to give up the game after just one shift in the second period of the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. New York Islanders game.

Due to his absence, the Penguins suffered significantly in that game. Ryan Poehling, another member of his team, suffered an upper-body injury recently.

Due to his injury, Chad has only played in 17 games this season, and Ruhwedel has only contributed one assist. He appears to be making a full recovery from his upper-body injury and will soon return to play.

Daring Sky-Diving Parents

During his match interviews, Chad Ruhwedel never seems to run out of interesting facts. Due to their shared interest, Chad was able to break the awkwardness in their conversation by revealing that his parents met while skydiving.

Skydiving addicts are Chad’s parents. John, Chad’s father, performed more than 3000 leaps, while Robin, his mother, performed more than 1500. What’s even stranger is that she took 20 of them when Chad was still in the womb. It is only natural for Chad Ruhwedel to be proud of his courageous and loving parents, and vice versa.
