On February 14, 1952, in Manhattan, they tied the knot. Adams met Joey while working as a model for a photographer in Manhattan. They appeared on the same radio show and discussed their romance freely. Joe was a comedian, vaudevillian, radio broadcaster, nightclub performer, and author from the United States. The lovebirds were over twenty years apart in age.

Joey’s Husband Death

Joey died on December 2, 1999, in St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan, at the age of 88, after a long and fruitful life. He had been sick for a long time. He passed away from heart failure. Adams’ widow and Mayor Rudy Giuliani both gave eulogies.

After nearly five decades of marriage, the couple had no children. They did not adopt any children. Joey is a dog lover and an animal activist.
