Clark Hunt, a Southern Methodist University graduate, began his career as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs for two years. He later returned to Dallas and started working for his father. He assisted his father in running the Kansas City Wizards of the Major League Soccer until the team was sold in 2006. Clark Hunt also owned the MLS’ Columbus Crew until 2013, and he won the franchise’s first MLS Cup on November 23, 2008. He is currently a member of the league’s board of governors and the owner of the MLS club FC Dallas.
Clark was named chairman of the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League in 2005. After his father died in 2006, he and his three siblings inherited the Chiefs, and Clark became the team’s operating manager.
