Danny Houston is an American actor who was born on May 14, 1962, in Rome, Italy, as Daniel Sallis Houston. He is of mixed heritage. His father is of Irish and American ancestry, and his mother is of Indian and English ancestry. Huston is the only child of director John Huston and actress Zoe Sallis. He is, however, Pablo Huston’s adopted half brother, as well as the half brother of Anjelica Huston and Tony Huston. Allegra Houston, his step-sister, is also a member of his family.

In 2002, Danny and his wife Katie welcomed their first child, Stella. Katie began abusing drugs and alcohol shortly after their marriage, slowly but steadily ripping their relationship apart. The couple split up in 2006, and Katie filed for divorce in 2007. However, before their divorce was finalized, Katie committed suicide in 2008. Katie leaped from her house’s roof.
