It was the first time the couple had publicly discussed their son’s difficulties, with the hope that people would be more open and accepting of people with these difficulties.

Deborah also stated that after their son was born, it was clear that he had some issues, and the couple was unsure of his world and their future. They were very concerned about their son’s development.

Fortunately, with the assistance of specialists, their son Nicholas was able to progress, and in no time he was running and talking more than they expected.
