Acting Career

Dirk Blocker continued to star in more television episodes such as Little House on the Prairie, Phyllis, and Lucas Tanner after experiencing the thrill of being in front of the camera. His breakthrough performance was in the film Baa Baa Black Sheep, in which he played 1st Lt. Jerome “Jerry” Bragg. Dirk was a star cast member in the two-year military drama.

Dirk’s career has largely been on the small screen, but he has appeared in a few big-budget films as a supporting actor. His first big-screen appearance was in the 1980 picture Midnight Madness, in which he played Blaykak. Similarly, he played Merker in the film Raise the Titanic.
