She later worked as a news anchor and general assignment reporter for MSNBC before quitting in 2007. Chang joined CNN as an international reporter in Beijing, China, in 2007. In 2010, she began working for Bloomberg Television and Bloomberg West in San Francisco, California, as a news anchor.
