For her first job, Jamie decided to work at Comcast Sports Net in Washington, where she would host a 30-minute show. That led to her getting a job at the New England Sports Network (NESN) in late 2012. She had a certified degree at the time.

In addition, her job required her to share hosting and reporting duties. Adam Pellerin and Erdahl, who were hosts on the show, were very popular in New England.

Jenny Dell was unable to cover a Boston Red Sox game in 2013. The Minnesotan took over for her. Dell was forced to give up hosting because of personal reasons. Jamie’s coverage at this point made a big difference.

Erdahl was later promoted to rinkside, but she still worked in the studios and on the sidelines. Her main job in the studio was to host a 30-minute news show.

When she was 31, documents say she worked for FOX Sports as a freelance reporter. She covered WNBA events for a live TV show. Some time at NESN led to CBS Sports.

Despite the fact that Jamie is still working for CBS, Greg Gumbel and Trent Green get a lot of help from him. Then, in late 2018, Allie LaForce was fired as a key on-site correspondent for CBS Sports station SEC. Erdahl came back after that.
