An Unfortunate Mishap That Ended His Career

His life took a different turn in 2003. He was involved in an accident that forever altered his life. His injuries included a dislocated knee ligament, a fractured pelvis, and a severed main nerve in his leg.

Following the accident, he did some freelance work for ESPN in 2003, but he didn’t join full-time until 2008. He attempted to resume his basketball career, but it was difficult after the injury.

His career was unable to recover as a result of it. The stats he accumulated during his college career faded, and he chose to become a sports motivational speaker, analyst, and recruiter. In addition, he published his autobiography.
