Jeff Bezos is an investor and one of the most well-known American technology entrepreneurs. He is the founder, chairman, and CEO of Amazon, an electronic commerce and cloud computing firm based in the United States. In late 1994, he started Amazon in Seattle. Amazon is currently the world’s largest online retailer and, through its Amazon Web Services division, the world’s largest provider of cloud infrastructure services. In July 2018, Forbes named him the richest man in contemporary history, with a net worth of $150 billion. He is also well-known as a philanthropist. In 1999, Time named him Person of the Year. In 2018, Time magazine named him one of the world’s 100 most influential people.

This Tuesday on 20 November, he donated nearly 100 million for 24 organizations under $2 billion “Day One Fund”. He granted $97.5 million on day one to help the homeless population. Early Life of Jeff Bezos:

Jeff is Jeffrey Preston Jorgensen. Born on January 12, 1964. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His parents were Ted and Jacklyn Gise Jorgensen. His birth mother divorced in 1968 and married Cuban immigrant Miguel “Mike” Bezos. In the end, he was renamed Bezos. He grew up in Houston, Texas. He attended to River Oaks Elementary. After moving to Miami, Florida, he attended Miami Palmetto High School. In 1982, he received the Silver Knight Award and was awarded valedictorian of his high school. Princeton University awarded him a BS in electrical engineering and computer science in 1986. Jeff was the president of the Students for the Exploration and Development of Space at Princeton. He’s been fascinated by science and technology since childhood.

Career of Jeff Bezos:

He worked at Fitel, a financial telecommunications start-up, after graduating from Princeton in 1987, despite offers from Intel, Bell Labs, and Andersen Consulting. His job at Fitel was to create an international trading network.

He worked for Bankers Trust as a product manager from 1988 until 1990.

In 1990, he joined D.E. Shaw & Co., a newly formed hedge fund. He later became the fourth senior vice-president of D.E. Shaw at the age of 30.

Mckenzie Tuttle is Jeff Bezos’s wife. In 1993, they married. Bezos met her while working at D.E. Shaw in Manhattan, New York. She is a novelist. They were in Seattle together when Bezos established Amazon. The couple is the parents of four children. He is the father of three sons and a daughter who was adopted from China.

In March 2003, Bezos was involved in a helicopter crash in West Texas. In a helicopter, he was one of three passengers. He had minor injuries and was brought to the hospital, where he was treated and released the same day.
