Jessica Mendoza, Is She Married? Their Marriage Situation

Mendoza and Burks first met in 2004 when she was a member of the American softball team that won gold at the Summer Olympics in Athens. The two met at a wedding in Southern California, and their relationship blossomed from there.

Jessica Mendoza, who had been dating Adam Burk for about two years at the time, married him in 2006. Jessica and her husband Adam have been married for 13 years and do not appear to have many marital problems.

Burks is a former US Marine who served in Iraq during Operation Desert Storm. He was a civil engineer before becoming a stay-at-home dad after the birth of his first child. Mendoza’s job required her to travel to different locations most of the time, so he decided to become a stay-at-home dad.

ESPN’s darling is extremely fortunate to have found a husband willing to give up his career for hers. Mendoza’s only heartbreak has to be when she has to leave her husband and children behind for her job.

Jessica Mendoza’s Offspring

Mendoza’s marriage to Burke not only provided her with a loving husband but also the opportunity to become a mother. She and her husband have two sons who are both their children.

Happy first birthday, my firstborn!!! What a weekend in Chicago, capped off by an electrifying walk-off victory at Wrigley Field last night. Unfortunately, I miss a lot of days with these boys, including birthdays… so this weekend was extra special for me to share my work with my loves and for Caleb to have a birthday he will never forget. Shout out to the amazing people I work with at ESPN for being so supportive of family and a mom who wants to spend a workday with her birthday boy. I don’t think I could do it without it.

Caleb, Mendoza’s first child, was born in 2009, three years after their marriage. Caleb’s birth prompted her husband to give up his job in order to be a stay-at-home dad. Despite his sacrifice, Burke does not appear to mind at all. He appears to relish the opportunity to spend more time with his son.
