Joe Cross

If you care about your health or fitness, you’ve probably heard of Joe Cross, the director of the documentary Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. So, aside from his professional life, how much do you know about him? Today, we present the personal life of Joe Cross, a health expert!

Joe Cross’ Envious Parents’ Marital Life

Joe Cross, an Australian entrepreneur, keeps his personal life private and has not been seen in a romantic relationship. However, in 2014, the wellness advocate was spotted sipping fresh juices with model Erica Packer, the ex-wife of casino billionaire James Packer. Joe’s romantic relationship, on the other hand, has not yet been the center of attention. And the 52-year-old hasn’t said anything about his girlfriend either. Most notably, Joe Cross is fortunate to have adorable parents whom he adores.

If you follow him on various social networking sites, you’ve probably noticed him adoring his parents. Joe tweeted a photo of his mother and father eating Easter lunch in April 2015, while planning their 50th wedding anniversary in Orange County. Well, he also shared a photo on Instagram with his adorable parents, in which Joe was seen spending quality time with his family. Just two years after the tweet, Joe posted a photo of his mother and father with the caption, “Happy Anniversary to my mother and father! I adore them both, and today marks their 52nd wedding anniversary!

What else can you say in a few words about such dedication, commitment, and love than thank you! Thank you for being such an inspiration to me and the rest of our family. Thank you for demonstrating that anything is possible if you work hard for it and don’t give up when things get tough!” Joe’s parents have been married for 53 years and have had a wonderful life together. And, without a doubt, his parents’ relationship has served as an example for him. Despite this, Joe has not been seen in a romantic relationship in the past.

Joe Cross’ Weight Loss Story

The man who has chronic urticaria, an autoimmune condition, has now become a witness advocate. He weighed 310 pounds (140 kilograms) in 2005 and spent his 30s experimenting with traditional and non-traditional medicine to treat his disease. With his regular smoking and drinking habits, the doctor even forewarned him that he would die young. So, in 2005, Joe began a 60-day juice fast under the supervision of his doctor. During his juice diet, he traveled across America, interviewing people about their food attitudes. He used 80% vegetables and 20% of Mean Green Juice, which is a blend of apples, ginger, kale, lemon, celery, and cucumber.

Joe stated that he felt groggy and unstable for the first three to five days, but after five days, he began to feel better both physically and mentally. So, by day 61, Cross had lost 82 pounds and reported complete relief from his urticaria symptoms. Joe documented his juice fast, traveled across America, and released the documentary Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead in 2011. Following the release of the film, he continued to travel around the world to promote juicing and has plans to make a second film about life after juicing. He did, however, release the second installment of the film, Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead 2, in 2014. This film features the people from the first film, as well as expert interviews and Cross’s efforts to maintain his weight. Similarly, Joe produced The Kids Menu, a health documentary that focuses on preventing childhood obesity.
