Kim Jong-in (born January 14, 1994) is a South Korean singer, model, actor, and dancer better known as Kai. He is a member of the South Korean-Chinese boy band Exo, as well as its subunit Exo-K and the South Korean supergroup SuperM. Childhood

Kai was born on January 14, 1994, in Suncheon, South Jeolla Province, South Korea, as the youngest of three siblings. He began ballet training in third grade after seeing The Nutcracker but began dancing when he was eight years old in the fourth grade of elementary school and originally did jazz dance.
