Kisha Chavis is the second wife of retired NBA player Joe Smith, who played power forward for twelve different teams over the course of his 16-year career. The public learned about their wedding through the reality show Say, Yes Dress, where Chavis appeared in a wedding gown.

As previously stated, Kisha Chavis is married to Joe Smith, a former NBA player. According to reports, the couple got engaged in 2016 after dating for several years.

She appeared in the Wedding Dress as a show on Atlanta TV, where she appeared with three of her friends, for the dress.

Krisha describes herself as “40ish” and believes she knows exactly what she wants in a wedding gown: “sexy, beachy, lacy, mermaid, cleavage.” The couple married on the beach of St. Croix in 2018.

Her fiance is a former NBA player.

Joe Smith is a retired basketball player who was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. The forty-four-year-old was drafted in the 1995 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors, where he played until 1998, before moving on to the Philadelphia 76ers (1998, 2006-07), Minnesota Timberwolves (1999-2000, 2001-2003), Detroit Pistons (2000-2001), Milwaukee Bucks (2003-2006), Denver Nuggets (2006), Chicago Bulls (2007-2008), Cleveland Cavaliers (2008, 2009), Oklahoma City Thunder (2008-2009), Atlanta Hawks (2008-2009 (2010-2011).

Smith enjoys music in addition to basketball. He released a solo rap album under the alias ‘Joe Beast,’ which included the tracks “Murda Kapital” and “I Does This.”

Smith’s Previous Relationships

Smith previously married Yolanda Smith, with whom he had three children. They divorced in 2011 after Yoland found out about Smith’s extramarital affair with Deanna Marie. Smith was ordered to pay $10,339 per month in child support as part of the divorce settlement, which was later reduced to $968 per month.

Smith then began dating Moniece Slaughter, a Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star. Despite this, the couple divorced just a few months later in March 2012.
