Mark David McGwire, also known as Mark McGwire is a retired American baseball player who played in Major League Baseball for the Oakland Athletics (1986–1997) and the St. Louis Cardinals (1997–2001). (MLB). He also worked as a coach for the St. Louis Cardinals (2010–2012), the Los Angeles Dodgers (2013–2015), and the San Diego Padres (2016–2018).

She gave birth to Mark with the help of her husband John, who was a dentist, and their daughter Ginger. Dan McGwire was a quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins in the early 1990s. He was a first-round draft pick from San Diego State University in the early 1990s. They both took steroids together. Jay McGwire, who is also a bodybuilder, wrote about it in a book in 2010.

He went to Damien High School in La Verne, California, and was very good at baseball, golf, and basketball.
