Mary-Ann (mother) and Francisco Estévez Martnez (father) had Martin Sheen as their seventh child (father). His mother was an immigrant from Borrisokane, County Tipperary, Ireland, while his father was from Salceda de Caselas, Galicia, Spain. His father, Francisco, worked as a manufacturing worker/machinery inspector for the National Cash Register Company, and his mother died in 1951, when Martin was 11 years old.
