Nick Sirianni began his coaching career as a defensive back coach at his alma mater, Mt. Union. He later transferred to IUP (2006-2008). In 2009, he joined the NFL as an offensive quality control coach for the Kansas City Chiefs, where he rose through the ranks from assistant quarterback coach to wide receiver coach (2009-2012).

2013, he joined the San Diego Chargers as offensive quality control coach, and from 2014 to 2015, he served as quarterback coach and wide receiver coach (2016-17).  2018, he was hired as offensive coordinator by the Indianapolis Colts. He was hired as the Philadelphia Eagles’ new head coach on January 21, 2021.
