Olivia was born into a well-to-do and well-known household as one of her famous parents’ daughters. Lilian Fontaine (1886–1975) was an English actress who studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and sang with Sir Walter Parratt and the Master of the King’s Music. On October 30, 1935, Olivia de Havilland made her film debut in Dario Argento’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Other films such as “Alibi Ike” and “The Irish in America” followed.
