Richard Commey was born in the Ghanaian capital of Accra. Joyce Florence, a strong single mother, reared him. Unfortunately, neither his father’s identity nor his location are public knowledge.

Early in his childhood, the warrior grew up without a father figure. His mother, on the other hand, filled that void and became his major source of inspiration and strength.

Commey did not have the best of beginnings in life. Despite the fact that he and his mother were poor, their difficult circumstances pulled them closer together.
