After that, she began to release duets with her then-husband, Kris Kristofferson, such as Full Moon, Breakaways, and Natural Act. She later established Walela, a trio with her sister, Priscilla, and Laura Satterfield, in 1996. She has more than 25 albums to her credit. Anytime… Anywhere, Love Me Again, Never Let You Go, and more successful albums are among them.

According to the book, she and Gordon worked on a piano coda and an unfinished demo of the song. She also attempted to contact Clapton and spoke with his manager, Robert Stigwood, who advised her on what she should do. He also stated that she lacked the financial means to fight for it.
