Born in Gwangju, South Korea, on December 12, 1990, Lee Seung-hyun, better known by his stage name Seungri, was raised there. He is currently 32 years old, and his birth sign is Sagittarius based on the astrological chart.

His parents’ names are Kang Hyun-Sook and Lee Yeon-Jin. Lee Hana, his younger sister, was also reared with him. He had an interest in dancing at a young age.

Professional Career of Seungri:

“Let’s Talk About Love,” his second solo EP, was a tremendous hit when it was released in August 2013 and peaked at numerous charts. Alongside labelmate Ku Hye-sun, he performed in a supporting capacity in the Korean medical drama “Angel Eyes,” portraying a Korean-American teenager who aspired to work as an emergency rescue worker.

Recent Work

In 2016, Big Bang and Seungri released “Made,” their third Korean album, which peaked at number 172 on the “US Billboard 200.” In the same year, the band published “Big Bang Made,” a documentary film that detailed the members’ hardships and journey since the band’s founding.

He was Lee, the Korean crime boss’s son, in the 2016 movie “High & Low: The Movie.” He has also made appearances in television programs like “Girls Fighting” (2016) and “Popular Women 100” (2013). The lead singles from his first Korean studio album, “The Great Seungri,” were “Where R U From” and “1, 2, 3!” It was released on July 20, 2018.

On January 27, 2022, the court lowered the sentence to eighteen months because Seungri had admitted his guilt. Seungri admitted guilt to all charges during the sentencing hearing and promised to “reflect on his actions.” In 2023, on February 9, he was released from prison.
