Simon Reeve, the winner of the One World Broadcasting Trust Award, is a British author, and television presenter based in London. He creates travel documentaries and writes books about international terrorism, modern history, and his own adventures. He was the host of the BBC television shows Tropic of Cancer, Equator, and Tropic of Capricorn.

Simon Alan Reeve was born on July 21, 1972, in Hammersmith, London, England. He is of English descent and holds British citizenship. Reeve is photographer James Reeve’s older brother. There is no additional information about his parents or siblings.

Life’s Journey
Then, after graduating from high school, he worked in a grocery store, a jewelry store, and a charity shop. This is what happened: While working as an investigative journalist, Reeve started to look into the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. This was just a few days after the bombing. People in the United Kingdom and in the United States read it in 1998. His research was used to write The New Jackals: Ramzi Yousef, Osama bin Laden, and The Future of Terrorism. A book called The New Jackals was the first one written about Osama bin Laden.
Reeve is also the author of The New Jackals (1998), One Day in September (2000), and Tropic of Capricorn (2001). (2007). One World Broadcasting Trust has given him an award. In 2012, the Royal Geographical Society gave him its award, the Ness Award, for his work.
It also talks about the Munich massacre, as well as the hijacking of Lufthansa Flight 615 and the covert Israeli operation called Wrath of God.
Besides that, the book also talks about the siege and massacre that took place during the 1972 Summer Olympics, in which 11 Israeli athletes and officials were killed by the Palestinian group Black September. When Kevin Macdonald made his film about the same subject in 2000 and won the Academy Award for best documentary, it became a bestseller. This book is based on that film.
Even though there was a lot of bad news after September 11, 2001, Reeve started making travel documentaries for the BBC. Reeve’s travel documentaries have been called “the best travel TV shows of the last five years” by Tom Hall, the travel editor for Lonely Planet books.
In the last 21 years of their marriage, Rob Riggle’s wife, Tiffany, filed for divorce.
Professional Career
“Places That Don’t Exist” was a five-part series by Reeve that won an award. It was shown on BBC Two and other international broadcasters in 2005. Countries like Somaliland, Transnistria, Nagorno-Karabakh, Ajaria, South Ossetia and Azerbaijan were some of the places Reeve visited for this series. The FSB detained Reeve for spying. One of the most dangerous cities in the world is Mogadishu. He also went there.
In January 2013, Reeve appeared in a special episode of The Great British Bake Off for a good cause. It was a six-part BBC TV show that aired in 2012 called Reeve’s Journey. He went around the Indian Ocean’s edge.
On Amazon Prime, there is a documentary series called The Balkans that he helped make. The show takes viewers on a journey through the Balkans as Cameron Ashplant learns more about the region and its people. The show will be on Amazon Prime in April 2020.

He is married to Anya Reeve, a television camerawoman, and campaigner. In addition, Jake, the couple’s first child, was born. He has managed to keep his personal life away from rumors and controversies.
