Death Causes and Funeral Services

Sophie Xeon, an experimental pop artist and producer, died on Saturday morning in Athens at the age of 34 after a “terrible, unexpected crash.” On January 30, the singer died at about 4:00 a.m. at his home in Athens, Greece’s capital.

Sophie slipped and fell after climbing to see the full moon, according to Sophie’s record label, Transgressive. The following is a quote from the publicist’s Twitter statement:

“She had climbed up to see the full moon, true to her spirituality, but she had slipped and fallen. She will always be a part of our lives. The family expresses their gratitude for everyone’s love and support and asks for privacy during this difficult time.”

They went on to say:

“One of the most successful artists in the last decade, Sophie was a pioneer of a new sound. Not only for the inventiveness and ingenuity of the production, but also for the message and exposure that was achieved. “A liberation icon.”

Fans and musicians paid tribute to the late musician on Twitter. One transgender supporter wrote on Twitter:

Sophie’s music and message of liberation mean more to me as a trans woman than I could ever express.

She is and always will be a true community icon who gave us a voice and a platform.’

Christine and the Queens, a French singer-songwriter, said:

‘As an artist and a woman, she defied the narrow, normative culture by becoming an utter triumph.’ I can’t believe she’s no longer with us. Her memory and reputation must be honored and respected. Keep the pioneers in your heart.’

Sophie’s funeral arrangements have not been made public. Her family has requested anonymity and has demanded that the late musician’s fan base be respected.

Will her soul find eternal rest!

Sophie came out in the 2017 video for “It’s Okay To Cry” as a “transgender girl.” In an interview with Billboard, she explored gender identity as a trans woman, saying: “Transness is taking care of your body to get it more in line with your soul and spirit, so the two don’t fight and struggle to survive. It’s so you will get closer to your true essence on this planet without the social expectations of trying to fulfill those conventional gender roles.” Tzef Montana, a non-binary model and activist from Greece, was a previous date for the late pioneering producer. The ex-couple first met in 2016 on the set of Charli XCX’s After the Afterparty in Los Angeles. Sophie also moved into Tzef’s Athens apartment until the couple broke up in the summer of 2019. In 2019, Vogue dubbed the power pair the “future of queer love.”
