She eventually created a team with her brother, Shane, called The Alliance, which was beaten in the Survivor Series by Team WWF, which included The Undertaker, Chris Jericho, Kane, Big Show, and The Rock. Following their defeat, the tandem was fired from the WWF. Stephanie and Triple H defeated Kurt Angle and Trish Stratus in 2001.

She defeated Trish Stratus one more in February. Later that year, Stephanie competed in The Weakest Link, a WWF event in which WWF personalities face off. Similarly, in 2002, she returned to the WWF, which was renamed WWE.
