Stephanie Ready is a former National Basketball Association Charlotte Hornets broadcaster who now works for NBA on TNT. She rose to prominence after taking over as head coach of the Washington Mystics in the men’s professional league in 2002. She was named one of “The 56 Most Intriguing Blacks of 2001” by Ebony magazine, alongside Shaquille O’Neal, the late Kobe Bryant, and Michael Jordan.

The native of Takoma Park, Maryland, United States was born in 1975. Stephanie Ready attended National Cathedral School in Washington, D.C., and Coppin State University in Baltimore for her collegiate years. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
